Malte Böhland hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Vlashers's Isac Angelescu in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goalkeeper Narcis Popete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Günther Josef. When Obidimkpa Saabøll fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vlashers's protests and gave Obidimkpa Saabøll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Obidimkpa Saabøll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günther Josef in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Popete saved Vlashers from getting behind. Rainder Just hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Karl Forster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Angelescu in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Blau Weiß Sauerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andi Trapp to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Vlashers's Isac Angelescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Forster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl Forster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Angelescu in the 33rd minute of play. Narcis Popete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Banken's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Florian Petters hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Günther Josef made a kick off. Dacian Cara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Obidimkpa Saabøll was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After 56 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Obidimkpa Saabøll. After 59 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Necula. In the 60th minute, Günther Josef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Popete was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Günther Josef who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vlashers's Narcis Popete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl Forster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Cara in the 67th minute of the match. Florian Petters charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florian Petters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vlashers getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vlad Bitang hit a great ball. Vlashers's Narcis Popete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Banken in the 77th minute of play. When Florian Petters was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Wolfgang Burgmeier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narcis Popete having to make a save. Dacian Cara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Forster having to interfere.
