NIKE Academy's Stig-Åke Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Vizitiu in the 7th minute of play. Pompiliu Lechințan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Stig-Åke Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Bârlă hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Artem Mamaev came free, but Leonard Baran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Corbeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vladko Trečiokas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Viklund in the 21st minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Leonard Baran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Lechințan in the 27th minute of the match. Leonard Baran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artem Mamaev went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vladko Trečiokas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Baran having to interfere. Leonard Baran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sven-Olof Åkesson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonard Baran firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladko Trečiokas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Costel Roşculeţ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BaLiSt and the NIKE Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Roşculeţ to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Hammarbäck during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC BaLiSt's Victor Frențiu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Pompiliu Lechințan rounded NIKE Academy's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. A hard shot 80 in the game by Ionuț Vizitiu from a close distance when the talented Stig-Åke Eliasson managed to make a qualified save. NIKE Academy's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, FC BaLiSt's Stig-Åke Eliasson threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pompiliu Lechințan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Pompiliu Lechințan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC BaLiSt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pompiliu Lechințan couldn't finish the play. FC BaLiSt's Ovidiu Căliman was substituted for Cazimir Gogu. FC BaLiSt's Traian Agusoaei was substituted for Robert Piersic. Eusebiu Aurelianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to NIKE Academy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Roger Sjödin hit a great ball. Pompiliu Lechințan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Stig-Åke Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BaLiSt. After 94 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Irod. The FC BaLiSt players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented NIKE Academy from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
