After 24 played minutes La Vuelta del Malon got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Tximitx. Desiderio Eliu's late challenge caught a Socavon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Eliu helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iturri Soldevilla in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Regis saved La Vuelta del Malon from getting behind. Jurdan Villagomez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Aznar to make the kick off. Maximiliano Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iturri Soldevilla in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Socavon FC defense, Fulgencio Aznar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Lujan. The Socavon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Lujan should have stopped the shot.
