The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barrialito's Nicasio Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Dantas in the 3rd minute of play. Ivo Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Nicasio Cordarrell made a huge save. If Júlio Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Barrialito's Nicasio Cordarrell got control of the ball when Ivo Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonzalo Oidor hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match, Ivo Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicasio Cordarrell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 11th play minutes Flávio Dantas shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Nicasio Cordarrell and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Warren FC - DMZ booed when Barrialito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flávio Dantas's late challenge caught a Barrialito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Dantas. Guido Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Felippe Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guido Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Guido Urki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felippe Damião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Flávio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Cordarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Gonzalo Oidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flávio Dantas went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Guido Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Urki to strike the kick off in the second half. Flávio Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicasio Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Tande in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Barrialito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Oidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Guido Urki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrialito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 71st minute, Ivo Lara made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Cordarrell. Barrialito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 75 minutes into the match, Barrialito's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Lara came free, but Nicasio Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Felippe Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Warren FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Barrialito booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Victoriano Martxelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Flávio Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Flávio Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Cordarrell. Barrialito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flávio Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Barrialito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
