Oscar Erruki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Fortun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Venancio Panchos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Jeremias Fortun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Pancho got free with Jeremias Fortun in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Carlos Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gerazan couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Fortun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anacleto Cibran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. 1989 Blxsk's Santo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Cristofol in the 26th minute of play. Venancio Pancho in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremias Fortun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Oscar Erruki got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Isaac Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes in the game, Carlos Gerazan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeremias Fortun having to interfere. The Dromes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Venancio Pancho put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Fortun. The 1989 Blxsk fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when 1989 Blxsk's Venancio Pancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dromes FC's zone, Carlos Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Fortun came out of the goal and Carlos Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Pedro Seršen got a free kick in the 98th minute.
