The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Severiano Izel hit a great ball. Claudio Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Hian, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Claudio Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayat Hock in the 17th minute of play. Claudio Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayat Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Pitin came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Albirex Niigata FC's Hidayat Hock. But to his dismay, Hidayat Hock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goal looked a bit too open when Hidayat Hock came free, but Claudio Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Azli Seah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Luzaide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lino Luzaide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dale Lim charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dale Lim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Dale Lim got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Luzaide came free, but Mark Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Hock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Luzaide in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Lim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Pitin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Alexander Tan sent off a good shot on target. Claudio Pitin came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Albirex Niigata FC's Clive Politiek. But to his dismay, Clive Politiek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Afriz Hian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Pitin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Hian in the 77th minute of play forced ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goalkeeper Claudio Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lino Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 83rd minute of play forced ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goalkeeper Claudio Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Alexander Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goalkeeper Claudio Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clive Politiek. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Alexander Tan took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Claudio Pitin to make any attempt to save it. Albirex Niigata FC's attentive Dale Lim managed to snatch the ball when Carolo Cebrian made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Lino Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albirex Niigata FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
