In the 13th minute of the match, Bernt Johansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Genaro Liher was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tequileros FC's Genaro Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Vennersten in the 14th minute of play. Tequileros FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Bernt Johansson scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Liher, making the score, 2-0. In the 20th play minute Börje Vennersten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Genaro Liher. 3-0. Baldomiro Munio didn't quite understand what happened when in the 31 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 32 minutes, Arsenio Fidensio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tequileros FC and the Rank 1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rank 1's Börje Vennersten got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Ulrik Nordkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Victoriano Tartalo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alexander Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tequileros FC defense, Börje Vennersten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Liher. The Tequileros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Liher should have stopped the shot. Genaro Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Liher having to interfere. Rank 1's Alexander Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Börje Vennersten came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Rank 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Vennersten couldn't finish the play. Tequileros FC's Genaro Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Lundström in the 74th minute of play.
