After a rather tough play, Rank 1's Ingvar Hellström got a free kick in the 4th minute. Edgardo Virila hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Alexander Lundström's late challenge caught a Tigre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Lundström helped the player get up and apologised. Alexander Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tigre's Rogelio Gaur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Tigre from getting a goal against them. Rogelio Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Teofilo Virila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Per-Olof Utter hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tigre's Rogelio Gaur got control of the ball when Bernt Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rank 1's Kim Ugla in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tigre's goalie prevented a goal. Rogelio Gaur was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Alexander Lundström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexander Lundström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Alexander Lundström came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rank 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Lundström couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Virila was the one to do the kick off. If Teofilo Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pål Svensson during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Henric. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edgardo Virila hit a great ball. Ingvar Hellström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Ugla in the 86th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Rogelio Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Ugla in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Gaur saved Tigre from getting behind. Rank 1's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
