Guilherme Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Simão's late challenge caught a BMB IMOVEIS SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Monteiro having to interfere. When Hortêncio Maia came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BMB IMOVEIS SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Maia couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's zone, Edu Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme Monteiro came out of the goal and Edu Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Jeferson Carneiro lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Celso Messias. In the 32nd minute, Hortêncio Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edu Eger hit a great ball. Felipe Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edu Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Carneiro in the 77th minute of play. Felipe Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Celso Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Hélio Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Messias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celso Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Bittencourt in the 85th minute of the match. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hélio Dante took the corner. After taking down the ball on ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's corner Hélio Dante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso Messias quite easily take care of the ball. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing BMB IMOVEIS SC to win.
