With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carel Verdonckt in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Monteiro saved ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil do Valle to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Gabriel Cockaerts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilherme Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. Geovânio Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ive De Meyer having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ive De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Simão in the 53rd minute of the match. Téo Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ive De Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ive De Meyer made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Geovânio Penha sent off a good shot on target. After 66 played minutes Téo Paulista rounded FC Gullegem's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Gil do Valle hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Jeferson Carneiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ive De Meyer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ive De Meyer made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jeferson Carneiro sent off a good shot on target.
