If Tobi Pircher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korneliusz Fujara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Wehren in the 4th minute of play. Daniel Sedzikowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Grebe came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Sedzikowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Roman Lizewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Grebe having to interfere. Robert Schlager scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Korneliusz Fujara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Gregor Renz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pogoń Stawiszyn getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Franciszek Przebendowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobi Pircher in the 23rd minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Korneliusz Fujara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Roman Lizewski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Korneliusz Fujara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Wehren in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Robert Schlager ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korneliusz Fujara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 45th minute, Tobi Pircher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 48th minute, Jonas Wehren made a precise shot to the right of Korneliusz Fujara. Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After the first half International Thunders were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Wehren to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Lizewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mario Grebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, International Thunders's Tobi Pircher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Korneliusz Fujara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Milosz Dziedziak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogoń Stawiszyn and the International Thunders players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Dziedziak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Jonas Wehren scored to the left of an out of position Korneliusz Fujara, making the score, 1-5. 80 minutes into the game, Roman Lizewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Mario Grebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonas Wehren 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Korneliusz Fujara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Wehren came free, but Korneliusz Fujara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonas Wehren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
