Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Isac Mota in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Zakariás Bíró was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Szolnoki MÁV through an amazing save. Zakariás Bíró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Soares in the 8th minute of the match. György Kaszás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamilton Poças having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Isac Mota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zakariás Bíró. The goal made the score 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when György Kaszás came free, but Hamilton Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gusztáv Balla hit a great ball. Zakariás Bíró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Zakariás Bíró made a huge save. Gusztáv Balla's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gusztáv Balla helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Szolnoki MÁV got a freekick which was hit by Gusztáv Balla. 36 minutes into the game, György Kaszás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szolnoki MÁV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. the free kick. Szolnoki MÁV's Zakariás Bíró played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Mota in the 39th minute of play. Gedeon Csákvári lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Szolnoki MÁV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell András Kis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Tibor Vadas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szolnoki MÁV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. the free kick. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Vadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Isac Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zakariás Bíró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Mota in the 55th minute of the match. Isac Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakariás Bíró having to interfere. Zakariás Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Mota in the 60th minute of play. If Óscar Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Mota to maneuver through the defense. When András Kis fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szolnoki MÁV's protests and gave András Kis a yellow card for diving instead. Hamilton Poças made an important save on a dangerous shot by András Kis in the 75th minute. Serafim Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zakariás Bíró tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Mota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zakariás Bíró having to make a save. After 87 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Morais. András Kis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hamilton Poças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. András Kis scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamilton Poças, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
