After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń1945Staszów's zone, Berea Ion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Fabiszak came out of the goal and Berea Ion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes, Iwo Biskupiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogoń1945Staszów and the Club 23 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Iwo Biskupiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berea Ion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Fabiszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Club 23's Cătălin Ticulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Cazimir Floroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Fabiszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Pogoń1945Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Berea Ion came free, but Zenon Fabiszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club 23's Codrin Encica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Ruzicki in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Club 23's Cătălin Ticulescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Fabiszak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victor Stamate blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zenon Fabiszak having to make a save. Zenon Fabiszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berea Ion, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After the first half Club 23 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Kosiorek came free, but Codrin Encica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cătălin Ticulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zenon Fabiszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leszek Ruzicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Pogoń1945Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Berea Ion came free, but Zenon Fabiszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cazimir Floroiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Zenon Fabiszak made a huge save. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cazimir Floroiu hit a great ball. Cătălin Ticulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Fabiszak having to interfere. With a little luck, Pogoń1945Staszów's Zenon Fabiszak got control of the ball when Cazimir Floroiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zenon Fabiszak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ferdinand Zegreanu. If Cazimir Floroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenon Fabiszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Ticulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Korneliusz Patrylo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korneliusz Patrylo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Berea Ion was slow to take the kick. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. Club 23's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
