Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Janes Verhoeven made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Martin Blakewell got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Barr Point defense, Janes Verhoeven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sacha Lane. The Barr Point fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sacha Lane should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Janes Verhoeven ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sacha Lane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Arnout Marant notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Barr Point's Sacha Lane. Sacha Lane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sacha Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janes Verhoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janes Verhoeven in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sacha Lane saved Barr Point from getting behind. Sacha Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janes Verhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carl Browne hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Janes Verhoeven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sacha Lane having to make a save. Arne De Munck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Sharpe in the 33rd minute of play. Sacha Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnout Marant, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Suikerklontjes's Teo Slabbaert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sacha Lane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Barr Point's Sacha Lane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Slabbaert in the 41st minute of play. Sacha Lane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janes Verhoeven in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lee Cook to strike the kick off in the second half. Lee Cook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Frazer Savage put in a rough tackle. Frazer Savage kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Martin Blakewell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barr Point and the Suikerklontjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Blakewell to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Jean-Louis Vereyt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barr Point's Sacha Lane didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arnout Marant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suikerklontjes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnout Marant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sacha Lane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Carl Browne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Geoff Howarth got a free kick in the 71st minute. Teo Slabbaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Slabbaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sacha Lane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Janes Verhoeven took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Sacha Lane to make any attempt to save it. Teo Slabbaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match, Arnout Marant got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sacha Lane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Suikerklontjes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barr Point.
