Sacha Lane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sacha Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hans's Stig Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Geoff Howarth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Stig Björklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sacha Lane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Björklund came free, but Sacha Lane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, FC Hans's Stig Björklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sacha Lane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Jimmy Dahlberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kurt Mager didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lee Cook went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Barr Point's Sacha Lane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Björklund in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lee Cook was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Per-Olof Jelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hans's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Olof Jelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sacha Lane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 58 minutes on the clock, Eric Kellbom commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Barr Point a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lee Cook, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Hans's Kurt Mager. 2-5. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Gaz Atkinson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Stig Björklund in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sacha Lane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edvard Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha Lane having to interfere. Kurt Mager showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristopher Sharpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Lee Cook fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barr Point's protests and gave Lee Cook a yellow card for diving instead. Lee Cook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kurt Mager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Kristopher Sharpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hans's Kurt Mager was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig Björklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sacha Lane having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Jimmy Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig Björklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Sacha Lane made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Geoff Howarth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barr Point's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoff Howarth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Mager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Dahlberg during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Hans's Jimmy Dahlberg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Lee Cook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. The Barr Point supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Hans's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Hans.
