Anselmo Fantauzzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Dave Luongo got a free kick in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Motta Futebol Clube's João Carlos Correia tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Mazinho Pombal put in a rough tackle. 22 minutes into the game, one of Motta Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Montaldi in the 28th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Montaldi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Corvasce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Galliani came free, but Júlio Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's Fabrício Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Allegretti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domenico Montaldi to make the kick off. If Fabiano Casadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Claudio Allegretti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Anselmo Fantauzzi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Fabrício Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Allegretti having to interfere. Júlio Prado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Galliani's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Fabiano Casadei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Júlio Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Fausto Galliani took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Júlio Prado to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, Anselmo Fantauzzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Allegretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Martins in the 85th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Fabiano Casadei notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Motta Futebol Clube's Júlio Prado. Júlio Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that João Carlos Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Allegretti was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
