Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) SCs StarS's Andy Carels started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Ali Behzat Derem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Reints saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, one of SCs StarS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SCs StarS. Jan Reints took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Behzat Derem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Özgür Olcay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Reints saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Job Wilhelm. Jan Reints made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Behzat Derem in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Carels to maneuver through the defense. Sefa Yahya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Job Wilhelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Job Wilhelm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sefa Yahya. Job Wilhelm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 41 minutes of play, HORIZZONT's Özgür Olcay made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Reints was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 44 minutes, Suphi Ziyaettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HORIZZONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suphi Ziyaettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half HORIZZONT were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Behzat Derem to make the kick off. Sebastiaan Hofland kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. SCs StarS's Jan Reints proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SCs StarS from getting a goal against them. Jan Reints took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suphi Ziyaettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes HORIZZONT got a freekick which was hit by Ali Behzat Derem. Sefa Yahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Wilhelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Richard Molenaar. SCs StarS's Jan Reints played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Behzat Derem in the 71st minute of play. Karsten Everts hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jan Reints took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Behzat Derem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Behzat Derem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Reints. That made the score 1-5 in the 80 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Stephan Hoogland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HORIZZONT's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
