Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Che Mino to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Sanz charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Sanz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when C.A. Husky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Jeffery De Vleeschauwere put in a rough tackle. In the 16th minute Anakoz Segarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas De Cat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolaas De Cat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose-Antonio Merino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xanti Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Cortens in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Cortens. Santiago Montaña hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Matxin Macia kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jo Vissenakens hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loui De Wulf was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Che Mino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolaas De Cat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nicolaas De Cat made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jose-Antonio Merino sent off a good shot on target. Jose-Antonio Merino came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolaas De Cat could save by the left post. Matxin Macia's late challenge caught a SK Dreigoten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matxin Macia helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes C.A. Husky got a freekick which was hit by Matxin Macia. Xanti Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Cortens in the 70th minute of the match. SK Dreigoten's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henri Van Houtvinc in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Henri Van Houtvinc got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xanti Costa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Richmond Van Doren kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Nicolaas De Cat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anakoz Segarra. In the 83rd minute, Santiago Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolaas De Cat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, C.A. Husky's Esquipula Alcantara got a free kick in the 86th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. Husky walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
