In the 88th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Otsando to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Edwardo Ruete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwardo Ruete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Argi Rionda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Universitario's Vidal Cantabrana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Polo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
