Adrian Låsberg's late challenge caught a Brasil off's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Låsberg helped the player get up and apologised. Pål Norberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Rolf Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rolf Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Malvin in the 18th minute of play. Rolf Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Orixe in the 19th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Rito couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Epifanio Rito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasil off fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Runa United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brasil off were winning 0-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Rito was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Dalmacio Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Eusko came free, but Rolf Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brasil off played a much better game than Runa United and deserved their victory. The Runa United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
