Mateus Garcez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Naldo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KINDERUZ's zone, Felipe Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Garcez came out of the goal and Felipe Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16th play minutes Murilo Mazza shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Mateus Garcez and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Mazza in the 20th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Mateus Garcez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Murilo Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Sandro Quirino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of KINDERUZ's Mateus Garcez. Mateus Garcez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Mazza in the 35th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Mateus Garcez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Ronaldo got free with Elói de Medeiros in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the game, Barrenta SC's Sandro Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Garcez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Renatinho Bertassi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Murilo Mazza struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mateus Garcez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrenta SC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Abrantes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Cordeiro. In the 53rd minute, Ricardo Bandeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Adolfo Abrantes notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Barrenta SC's Elói de Medeiros. Elói de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 61 minutes, Murilo Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrenta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Sandro Quirino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateus Garcez, 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrenta SC's Sandro Quirino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateus Garcez. That made the score 1-7 after 65 minutes of play. Adolfo Abrantes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elói de Medeiros having to make a save. 72 minutes into the game, KINDERUZ's Adolfo Abrantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elói de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Murilo Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrenta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Garcez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Adolfo Abrantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ramiro Mansilha fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KINDERUZ's protests and gave Ramiro Mansilha a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes KINDERUZ got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Mansilha. KINDERUZ's Mateus Garcez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save KINDERUZ from getting a goal against them. Murilo Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateus Garcez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murilo Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Novais kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Cristian Ronaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KINDERUZ and the Barrenta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Cristian Ronaldo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mateus Garcez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Lara in the 97th minute of play. Barrenta SC played a much better game than KINDERUZ and deserved their victory. The KINDERUZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
