The DJK Füchtel Vechta fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when DJK Füchtel Vechta's Peter Sprey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Şinasi Tanzer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Sprey went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Peter Sprey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şinasi Tanzer was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Çanakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlyas Tolga Balkır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mustafa Anıl Karadeniz could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Niels Lettrari however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute Basil Schubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şinasi Tanzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match DJK Füchtel Vechta got a corner. Çanakkale's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rouven Dahmen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rouven Dahmen made a great header on DJK Füchtel Vechta's corner, it was just that Çanakkale's Şinasi Tanzer managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Çanakkale defense, Peter Sprey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şinasi Tanzer. The Çanakkale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şinasi Tanzer should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Mustafa Anıl Karadeniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niels Lettrari. DJK Füchtel Vechta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Anıl Karadeniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 35 played minutes Çanakkale got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Oktan. İlyas Tolga Balkır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Lettrari having to interfere. Niels Lettrari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eren Özduran in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as DJK Füchtel Vechta's Basil Schubert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şinasi Tanzer. That made the score 1-4 after 51 minutes of play. 54 minutes into the game, Mustafa Anıl Karadeniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Çanakkale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJK Füchtel Vechta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Çanakkale's Mustafa Anıl Karadeniz got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 60th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunus Argun to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Rouven Dahmen in the 61st minute really tested Şinasi Tanzer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 66 played minutes, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Rouven Dahmen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şinasi Tanzer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DJK Füchtel Vechta reached it. In the 67th minute of the match, Basil Schubert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şinasi Tanzer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Niels Lettrari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Anıl Karadeniz in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Eren Özduran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Çanakkale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJK Füchtel Vechta the free kick. After 76 played minutes Çanakkale got a freekick which was hit by Eren Özduran. Şinasi Tanzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil Schubert in the 78th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Eren Özduran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niels Lettrari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Sprey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Şinasi Tanzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şinasi Tanzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basil Schubert, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Kracht to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Yasun in the 94th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Niels Lettrari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The DJK Füchtel Vechta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DJK Füchtel Vechta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
