An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Ralondo in the 37th minute of play forced Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Machado Nieto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Uriel Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleodoro Cayuela to strike the kick off in the second half. Machado Nieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Machado Nieto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute.
