Supay Puka Huasi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Club Atletico Fenix's Ermegildo Matxin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Fenix from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Valentine in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Supay Puka Huasi FC's zone, Julio Matro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Perez came out of the goal and Julio Matro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Augusto Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Atletico Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Poncio couldn't finish the play. Anacleto Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Araoz in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Angelo Valentine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anacleto Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Ospin in the 26th minute of play forced Supay Puka Huasi FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Angelo Valentine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Matei charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Matei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Supay Puka Huasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Casado in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Angelo Valentine made a precise shot to the right of Anacleto Perez. Supay Puka Huasi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Supay Puka Huasi FC defense, Abel Sayvion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Perez. The Supay Puka Huasi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Perez should have stopped the shot. Anacleto Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Valentine in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Club Atletico Fenix were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Guaberto Oto made the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Club Atletico Fenix's Angelo Valentine dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Ermegildo Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Oto in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atletico Fenix getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Augusto Poncio hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Supay Puka Huasi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Sayvion came free, but Anacleto Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Eusebio Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Monte's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Fenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Monte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Supay Puka Huasi FC's Rosendo Monte got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Supay Puka Huasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Fenix's Ermegildo Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Monte in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rosendo Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supay Puka Huasi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Serafin Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Club Atletico Fenix could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Supay Puka Huasi FC throughout the match.
