Benicio Carvajal had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Paz Arciniega's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th minute, Paz Arciniega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linterna verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th minute Domingos Bobadilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Carvajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Carvajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Bobadilla in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Domingos Bobadilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Carvajal. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Bobadilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Filipo Riazos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Selatse Mexia. That made the score 1-2 in the 19 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Paz Arciniega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Carvajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Bobadilla in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bizi Ruidiaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's supporters rose to their feet, but Bizi Ruidiaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selatse Mexia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Bobadilla scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Carvajal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaueko Sevillano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Benicio Carvajal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domingos Bobadilla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 70 minute of play. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Benicio Carvajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ from getting a goal against them. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Benicio Carvajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paz Arciniega in the 80th minute of play.
