In the 14th minute Victoriano Fortuño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Villa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Victoriano Fortuño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vicente Villa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Venceslás Sánchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boomer Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Vicente Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Fortuño in the 43rd minute of the match. Corozo Nevares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Valerón in the 46th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Venceslás Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corozo Nevares was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
