An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Burni in the 9th minute of play forced Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Gilabert Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Prospero Paio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilabert Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Rey to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Gora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galo Navas in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Prospero Paio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Bernebe's late challenge caught a Racing Rocafort C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Bernebe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Danilo Jurado got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Prospero Paio in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Rocafort C.F.'s zone, Prospero Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilabert Alonso came out of the goal and Prospero Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Rey. Benigno Gora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Jurado in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramiro Olmos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47thth minute of the game Danilo Jurado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Benigno Gora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 55th minute, Carmelo Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Olmos in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Benigno Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Rio Tercero's corner Carmelo Burni fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilabert Alonso quite easily take care of the ball. When Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Prospero Paio in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benigno Gora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Jurado in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Osvaldo Cebrian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Gilabert Alonso got control of the ball when Prospero Paio tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Jurado in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Gora saved Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting behind. Osvaldo Cebrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Alonso having to interfere. Galo Navas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Prospero Paio scored 0-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilabert Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Danilo Jurado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Jurado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Gora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Denis Paez got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
