When Faustino Eduino came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Gastres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Eduino couldn't finish the play. Arne Almstedt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Alstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hudiksvalls United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Jan-Ove Alstedt got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hudiksvalls United's zone, Faustino Eduino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Almstedt came out of the goal and Faustino Eduino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rikard Stenquist's late challenge caught a Gastres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikard Stenquist helped the player get up and apologised. Rikard Stenquist hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Raul Fresco in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arne Almstedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raul Fresco let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. In the 24th minute Faustino Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jerry Norström hit a great ball. Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Eduino in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Faustino Eduino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arne Almstedt. The goal made the score 4-0. The audience was convinced that Raul Fresco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Almstedt was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. A hard shot 41 in the game by Raul Fresco from a close distance when the talented Arne Almstedt managed to make a qualified save. Hudiksvalls United's players were relieved. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Christoffersson to make the kick off. Arne Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Raul Fresco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastres FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 74 minutes, Raul Fresco made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th match minute, Hudiksvalls United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Norström to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Gastres FC's Marco Endura tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Raul Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Eduino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gastres FC had played much better football throughout.
