Teodoro Eladio made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jeronimo Pudes sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Deportivo Diamante U18 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Silvio Pirro hit a great ball. Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Txeru in the 11th minute of play. Severino Loco kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match, Jeronimo Pudes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodoro Eladio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Teodoro Eladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Ignazio in the 19th minute of play. Eriberto Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Frutos during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Ulises Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Cibran lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Tobias Cibran got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eriberto Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Frutos in the 32nd minute of the match. Serafin Txeru scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Sindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eriberto Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Perrando in the 36th minute of play. If Abelardo Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Javiero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Natalio Indar charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Indar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Indar to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Pudes took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Eladio. Teodoro Eladio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Anastasio Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute of the match Anastasio Javiero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Eladio skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th minute, Natalio Indar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Sindo. The goal made the score 1-3. Martin Palermo F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
