After a defensive mix-up in São Wilson's zone, Simon Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Meirelles came out of the goal and Simon Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kröll BK's Joseph Högström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Valladares in the 16th minute of play. Ingvar Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Meirelles having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Kröll BK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Lagerberg. In the 38th match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Browall made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Agne Askstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Browall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Celsinho Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celsinho Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Daniel Browall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, São Wilson's Sílvio Luiz Trancoso got a free kick in the 88th minute. Kröll BK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing São Wilson to leave the ground with a draw.
