Josué Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Anga FC's Americo Ayala shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexsandro Guedes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anga FC reached it. LRCA Office Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Celino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in LRCA Office Club's zone, Patricio Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Guedes came out of the goal and Patricio Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Urki in the 38th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Alexsandro Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alexsandro Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LRCA Office Club's Olívio Velloso got a free kick in the 41st minute. Alexsandro Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Celino in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Ezequiel Jaunzuria fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anga FC's protests and gave Ezequiel Jaunzuria a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the LRCA Office Club defense, Evaristo Ferman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexsandro Guedes. The LRCA Office Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexsandro Guedes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Ferman in the 81st minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Alexsandro Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anga FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
