Robai Julius Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Suchet in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the The Wolfpack™ defense, Cyril Bec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robai Julius Carabajal. The The Wolfpack™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robai Julius Carabajal should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, The Wolfpack™'s Daniel de Reyck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomas Gascon. Thomas Gascon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Lucien Denijs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Wolfpack™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.C. Marseille the free kick. In the 29th minute, Lucien Denijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Omar Suchet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxime Van Looy in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Gascon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Omar Suchet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robai Julius Carabajal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxime Van Looy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, The Wolfpack™'s Maxime Van Looy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Gascon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Maxime Van Looy came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the The Wolfpack™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxime Van Looy couldn't finish the play. Thomas Gascon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxime Van Looy's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Cyril Bec in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robai Julius Carabajal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julius Loremans kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Daniel de Reyck made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Gascon. R.C. Marseille's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaise Castera in the 88th minute of play forced The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Robai Julius Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Cyril Bec got a free kick in the 90th minute. Daniel de Reyck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Thomas Gascon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. R.C. Marseille were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
