Joey Molina came out of the goal and Ben Chepchumba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anchel Ocaña's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguito Maradona couldn't finish the play.
