Atabek Kantürk made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Xavion Pedraja sent off a good shot on target. Xacintu Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fevzi Pakel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tuncer Baran charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercan Başhekim to make the kick off. Xacintu Estevez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ercan Başhekim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. The supporters of 1461 Trabzon booed when Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zamora Lezama didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goal looked a bit too open when Hamit Uran came free, but Xacintu Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1461 Trabzon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
