After some careless play in the G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola defense, Placido Berenguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Mannella. The G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Mannella should have stopped the shot. In the 6th match minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Forlani to maneuver through the defense. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Dino Di Natale got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damiano Cericola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Camilo Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Vende Humo got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Otsoko. After 12 played minutes, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Dino Di Natale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Hodei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola reached it. With a little luck, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Beppe Mannella got control of the ball when Eugenio Calvet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Placido Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Mannella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Mannella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Calvet in the 32nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Damiano Cericola made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Robustiano Esiquio made a precise shot to the right of Beppe Mannella. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Gavino Estefan's late challenge caught a G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Estefan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vende Humo's Gavino Estefan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Vende Humo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damiano Cericola 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Vende Humo's Inocencio Mantzio was substituted for Alvaro Nastasio. Vende Humo's Leonides Lazcano was substituted for Placido Berenguer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Balendin in the 74th minute of play forced G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's goalkeeper Beppe Mannella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Esiquio came free, but Beppe Mannella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Vende Humo's Inocencio Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Mannella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 80th minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Damiano Cericola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Hodei. Camilo Hodei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. The supporters of G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola booed when Vende Humo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Bernardo Scrima in the 84th minute really tested Camilo Hodei's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Beppe Mannella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Vende Humo got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Mantzio. Beppe Mannella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Vende Humo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
