Guximtar Kita struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Franck vrolijx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KF Ballistet. The supporters of Royal Antwerp FC booed when KF Ballistet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hashim Kapaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Jimmy Terreur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Antwerp FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KF Ballistet the free kick. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Royal Antwerp FC! Çerçiz Topulli had several of the Royal Antwerp FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Franck vrolijx as he didn't even see the shot coming. Niel Van der Perren kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guximtar Kita in the 32nd minute of play forced Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Franck vrolijx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Çerçiz Topulli managed to get in a good position for a shot. KF Ballistet's supporters rose to their feet, but Çerçiz Topulli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franck vrolijx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fotaq Strakosha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Cremers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Guximtar Kita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck vrolijx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fotaq Strakosha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joannes Grootjans in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guximtar Kita was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Cremers got free with Fotaq Strakosha in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klodian Nika scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franck vrolijx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franck vrolijx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çerçiz Topulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Royal Antwerp FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Joonatan Puttemas hit a great ball. Franck vrolijx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klodian Nika's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. With a little luck, KF Ballistet's Fotaq Strakosha got control of the ball when Jimmy Terreur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard Cremers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Fotaq Strakosha made a huge save. Getoar Xhangolli scored 6-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franck vrolijx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bardhyl Muka's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bardhyl Muka helped the player get up and apologised. Fotaq Strakosha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joannes Grootjans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KF Ballistet's Fotaq Strakosha got control of the ball when Bernard Cremers tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, KF Ballistet's Guximtar Kita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franck vrolijx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KF Ballistet had played much better football throughout.
