In the 10th minute of the match, Isaac Mantzio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aldo Paredes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sporting Club Victoria's Geronimo Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Conde in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, SC Farense's goalkeeper Aldo Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Mantzio. In the 16th minute, Sporting Club Victoria's Leopoldo Gartzen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Rogério Lages struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Geronimo Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Farense. With an all-out effort, Sporting Club Victoria's Aldo Paredes threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Gartzen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aldo Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes SC Farense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Gartzen who took care of the corner kick. Aldo Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Gartzen to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gustavo Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Farense's protests and gave Gustavo Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Mendes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Leopoldo Gartzen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Gartzen in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Paredes saved SC Farense from getting behind. In the 86th minute Isaac Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Gartzen scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Farense's Aldo Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Gartzen in the 91st minute of play. Aldo Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Gartzen in the 93rd minute of the match. João Azevedo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Mantzio in the 96th minute of play forced SC Farense's goalkeeper Aldo Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Sporting Club Victoria were the better team. Sporting Club Victoria's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
