This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Washington Baiano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Washington Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Jonasson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th match minute, Chinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Alvin Berglund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Washington Baiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Alvin Berglund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Washington Baiano. The goal made the score 3-0. After 28 played minutes Chinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Breno Garcia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Berglund in the 31st minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Washington Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Axel Klementsson's late challenge caught a Chinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Jonasson was the one to do the kick off. The Chinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Washington Baiano should have stopped the shot.
