The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafa Nadal came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rubim Fiúza could save by the left post. 5 minutes into the game, Hurko Doblas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubim Fiúza. Hurko Doblas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nereo Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valleslona F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubim Fiúza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Angel Santalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubim Fiúza. The goal made the score 2-0. Angel Santalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubim Fiúza came out and tried to block the shot, but Angel Santalla slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 13th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in MACAU. F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Rubim Fiúza, was totally fooled by Valleslona F.C.'s Pau Cubarsí, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Valleslona F.C.'s Angel Santalla got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torcato Rebelo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Nuno Palha hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Enzo Reyes's late challenge caught a MACAU. F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Reyes helped the player get up and apologised. Urtsin Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rubim Fiúza made a huge save. 35 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Gusmão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MACAU. F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valleslona F.C. the free kick. Vivaldo Gusmão hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Joel Sales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Catarino Durães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Catarino Durães got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osoro Titos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 52 minutes into the game, Nereo Fuentes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valleslona F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACAU. F.C the free kick. The supporters of MACAU. F.C booed when Valleslona F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Fuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, MACAU. F.C's Vivaldo Gusmão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vivaldo Gusmão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MACAU. F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vivaldo Gusmão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st minute, Vivaldo Gusmão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Santalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rubim Fiúza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubim Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtsin Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Torcato Rebelo's late challenge caught a Valleslona F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torcato Rebelo helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in MACAU. F.C's zone, Urtsin Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubim Fiúza came out of the goal and Urtsin Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Urtsin Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valleslona F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Urtsin Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubim Fiúza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Rafa Nadal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubim Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
