Rozen Lipsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Quinn in the 2nd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, G.R.'s Yuval Laban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dane White narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Danny Avery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley on Thames United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Avery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, G.R.'s Zahavi Drucker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dane White made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 20 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Ben Yochay. Rozen Lipsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Quinn in the 21st minute of play. Yuval Laban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dane White made a huge save. If Joshua Ziss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, G.R.'s Efran Arnstein got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tod Summers, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joshua Ziss in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dane White saved Henley on Thames United from getting behind. Rozen Lipsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylon Rundle in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Reuven Speyer hit a great ball. Rozen Lipsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Quinn in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kelvin Quinn to make the kick off. Rozen Lipsky was a little too slow when Kelvin Quinn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. Danny Avery's late challenge caught a G.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Avery helped the player get up and apologised. Danny Avery hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, G.R.'s Giovanni Ben Yochay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dane White came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in G.R. reached it. Giovanni Ben Yochay hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rozen Lipsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Quinn in the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Dylon Rundle. Dane White made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zahavi Drucker in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Danny Avery. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Henley on Thames United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
