The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dionisio Rivero scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kennet Åhlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute of the match Olivos Futbol Club got a corner. IFK Kik's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeo Raymond ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 13 minutes of play, IFK Kik's Patrik Myr made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Asur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeo Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kennet Åhlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Kennet Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Lando in the 23rd minute of the match. Stig Vase's late challenge caught a Olivos Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Vase helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olivos Futbol Club booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Jan Billock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Kik and the Olivos Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tadeo Raymond's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kennet Åhlberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tadeo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tadeo Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Evert Lindberg hit a great ball. Tadeo Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Åkerström in the 42nd minute of the match. Nils-Åke Kruuse took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Asur. Tadeo Asur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half IFK Kik were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tadeo Raymond made the kick off in the second half. IFK Kik's Kennet Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Chan in the 54th minute of play. Kennet Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Tadeo Raymond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivos Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 67th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Åkerström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Åke Kruuse got free with Tadeo Asur in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the game, Patrik Myr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Tadeo Asur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Olivos Futbol Club booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Åhlberg having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Stig Vase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kennet Åhlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Chan went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Tadeo Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Åhlberg having to interfere. The IFK Kik players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Olivos Futbol Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
