Anselmo Furlan started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Tadeo Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celio Tijero having to interfere. Perivaldo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urritz Planes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Claus Vellon scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perivaldo Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Perivaldo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claus Vellon in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Santos City got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Hermes. If Anselmo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Urritz Planes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chigüires De Mogadiscio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jânio Hermes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Celio Tijero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Santos City's goal looked a bit too open when Urritz Planes came free, but Perivaldo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ximen Caballeria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Santos City got a freekick which was hit by Ian Ramalho.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Vellon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Urritz Planes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Perivaldo Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th match minute, Chigüires De Mogadiscio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortun Amieva to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Jânio Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celio Tijero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 63rd minute Anselmo Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celio Tijero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Betoño kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Furlan came free, but Celio Tijero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santos City's Jânio Hermes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 85 played minutes Claus Vellon rounded Santos City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
