Sporting Cristal's Everardo Alsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florinio Gayangos in the 12th minute of play. Everardo Alsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faro Cuebas in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Laurendi Astiategui got control of the ball when Kaxen Zulaica tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sporting Cristal defense, Florinio Gayangos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Alsua. The Sporting Cristal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Alsua should have stopped the shot. Florinio Gayangos might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Alsua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florinio Gayangos ran back to his position shaking his head. When Florinio Gayangos came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florinio Gayangos couldn't finish the play. Everardo Alsua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florinio Gayangos in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Florinio Gayangos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Alsua was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florinio Gayangos in the 32nd minute of play forced Sporting Cristal's goalkeeper Everardo Alsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Cristal's Everardo Alsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florinio Gayangos in the 34th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaxen Zulaica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Florinio Gayangos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Alsua was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Erasmo Irizar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Sporting Cristal's Everardo Alsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florinio Gayangos in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Faro Cuebas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Alsua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 72 minutes into the game, Sanduru Cortada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Everardo Alsua. Sanduru Cortada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Everardo Alsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanduru Cortada, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Faro Cuebas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Everardo Alsua made a huge save. Florinio Gayangos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Everardo Alsua came out and tried to block the shot, but Florinio Gayangos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 92nd minute. A collision led to BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sanduru Cortada hit a great ball. Kaxen Zulaica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurendi Astiategui having to interfere.
