It was a penalty for Roncourt! 13 minutes into the game, Robert Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stolpskott IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roncourt the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Stolpskott IF's zone, Gwendal Quémeneur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Kaxe came out of the goal and Gwendal Quémeneur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stolpskott IF's goalkeeper Bengt Kaxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roncourt's Gabriel Messager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Dahlquist in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Hubert Donnet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gwendal Quémeneur's late challenge caught a Stolpskott IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwendal Quémeneur helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Roncourt got a freekick which was hit by Gwendal Quémeneur. After having played for 27 minutes, Jean-Pierre Riche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roncourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Pierre Riche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stolpskott IF's Paul Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwendal Quémeneur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Donnet got free with Bengt Kaxe in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Messager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Dahlquist in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Stolpskott IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Fogel to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Roncourt's Jean-Pierre Riche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Kaxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Gwendal Quémeneur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt Kaxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hubert Donnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Pierre Riche to make the kick off. Bengt Kaxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Riche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Askelöf got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stolpskott IF! The referee gave Roncourt a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hakim Mesnier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stolpskott IF's Bengt Kaxe. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Pouillaude in the 97th minute of play forced Stolpskott IF's goalkeeper Bengt Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Donnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
