The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Victoria Mlawa getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tadeusz Olejarz hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Genaro Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Marek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Genaro Argina came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Argina couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Victoria Mlawa's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Marcones came free, but Jaroslaw Marek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Eguen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velez Sarsfield had played much better football throughout.
