After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Marian Trapcea got a free kick in the 31st minute. Marcel Uzuneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Leão de Judá getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Henrique de Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Martin Mardarie fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 38 played minutes UFC Tariverde got a freekick which was hit by Marian Trapcea. Fernandinho Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Uzuneanu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Mardarie to make the kick off. Remus Şimandan scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Leão de Judá booed when UFC Tariverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Şimandan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Leão de Judá got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio de Toledo. Leão de Judá's José Paulo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Balint in the 70th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Leão de Judá's Edmílson Rossi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 89th minute, Petrică Chihaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Mardarie during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Mardarie kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mardarie in the 95th minute of play forced Leão de Judá's goalkeeper José Paulo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. UFC Tariverde were victorious despite being under pressure from Leão de Judá for much of the match.
