Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cafu Catarinense started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Cafu Catarinense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mancio Arana. Cafu Catarinense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 8th minute, Blanco Trabeso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Blanco Trabeso. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Emílio de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jenipapo SC's Emílio de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Bausa in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Luan Toscano got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Luiz Fabiano Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wanderson Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Valadares couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Aujea. In the 38th match minute, Ajax Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Zuñiga to maneuver through the defense. Mancio Arana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Valadares in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bautista Bausa to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ajax Colombiano getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Blanco Trabeso hit a great ball. Wanderson Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Belmiro Hoyuelos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Emílio de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Zuñiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenipapo SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Matias Zuñiga scored to the left of an out of position Emílio de Amaral, making the score, 1-1. Mancio Arana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Valadares in the 77th minute of the match. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's Emílio de Amaral got control of the ball when Belmiro Hoyuelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jenipapo SC's Emílio de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Bausa in the 88th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Matias Zuñiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Emílio de Amaral to make any attempt to save it. The Ajax Colombiano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ajax Colombiano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
