The crowd rose to their feet as Gianluigi Buffon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrik Tingberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 15th minute Morgan Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Dolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Aaron Anselmino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Gianluigi Buffon managed to get in a good position for a shot. STARK F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gianluigi Buffon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Forssberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, STARK F.C.'s Rosendo Raymundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Tingberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some careless play in the IKS Norrköping defense, Baldomero Janpier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Tingberg. The IKS Norrköping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Tingberg should have stopped the shot. STARK F.C. made a substitution. Dalmacio Sal replaced Baldomero Janpier. The supporters of IKS Norrköping booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Morgan Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 76 minutes on the clock, Eddie Forsell commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 76 minutes into the game, one of IKS Norrköping:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, IKS Norrköping's Lucas Sefastsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Rosendo Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the STARK F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Raymundo couldn't finish the play.
