After 12 played minutes IKS Norrköping got a freekick which was hit by Claes Österlund. Henrik Tingberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerdt Libach, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes, Loke Ørbye mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Dolby and the IKS Norrköping players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Long Dolby got a freekick which was hit by Loke Ørbye. Karim Olman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Ek in the 20th minute of play. Karim Olman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Forssberg went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, IKS Norrköping's Torsten Holmgren got a free kick in the 27th minute. Karim Olman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Forssberg in the 31st minute. Lucas Sefastsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Karim Olman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Claes Österlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karim Olman, 3-1. A collision led to IKS Norrköping getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alvin Hagström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Forssberg in the 44th minute of play forced Long Dolby's goalkeeper Karim Olman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Karim Olman managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when IKS Norrköping's Marcus Forssberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46th match minute, Long Dolby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amdi Hegh to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Lucas Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes, Amdi Hegh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Dolby and the IKS Norrköping players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute Marcus Forssberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Olman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcus Forssberg came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the IKS Norrköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Forssberg couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Long Dolby defense, Marcus Forssberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karim Olman. The Long Dolby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Olman should have stopped the shot. Claes Österlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karim Olman having to make a save. Marcus Forssberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Olman having to interfere. Gerdt Libach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Forssberg in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Olman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Long Dolby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Krauthammer to maneuver through the defense. Karim Olman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Forsell, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Long Dolby's Karim Olman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Forssberg in the 92nd minute of play. Filip Erit lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IKS Norrköping had played much better football throughout.
