Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafał Wern kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mauro's goal looked a bit too open when Jordon Czaczka came free, but Radomil Zbikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Mauro defense, Jordon Czaczka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomil Zbikowski. The Mauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomil Zbikowski should have stopped the shot. Boroondara Milan's Gregory Shearn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Majdoch in the 17th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Boruc Majdoch elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's George Hollingworth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomil Zbikowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Radomil Zbikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordon Czaczka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boroondara Milan's George Hollingworth got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafał Werns short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Gregory Shearn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Boroondara Milan were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

George Hollingworth struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Radomil Zbikowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. When Zachariasz Kaczor fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mauro's protests and gave Zachariasz Kaczor a yellow card for diving instead. Zachariasz Kaczor hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Radomil Zbikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drake Boneheyo in the 65th minute of play. If Drake Boneheyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Jordon Czaczka made a precise shot to the right of Radomil Zbikowski. Mauro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 79th match minute, Mauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Majdoch to maneuver through the defense. Radomil Zbikowski made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when George Hollingworth sent off a good shot on target. Gregory Shearn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Rafał Wern came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mauro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafał Wern couldn't finish the play. Gregory Shearn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Boroondara Milan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mauro.
